Pour La Victoire Yummies

Even though I don't have too much occasion to where them, it's difficult for me to pass up a fantastic pair of pumps. Especially if they are patent leather. Especially if they have a platform.

Enter the Pour La Victoire sale on Gilt. The Irina II Pump might be perfect. Perfect with jeans on a Friday night, perfect for pairing with a black dress at a cocktail party, perfect for wearing with your robe when you walk the dog. OK, maybe not that last part.

Up.

Now.

Am I right, or am I right? If you aren't a Gilt member now, click here, and get on it.

Friday Happies

Happy Friday! Here are some things that made me smile this week...

A love-ly coffee mug that holds a LOT of coffee.

Summery cups holding possibly my new favorite Gatorade flavor: Lime Cucumber. Delaware stuff is quickly eclipsing the Clemson stuff in my parents' house...oldest little bro ships out in two and half weeks. (Shout out to CM!)

Last weekend was tax-free weekend in Jacksonville, so my youngest brother and I hit the outlet malls. I came away with your typical teacher finds (cardigans and black pants), but also found these lovelies for a way discounted price. The pictures don't do them justice. I'm thinking the lace dress might be the key part of my first football outfit this season?

One of my buy one, get one sweatshirts from the Vans outlet. I guess Vans sweatshirt purchases are what happens when you shop with your 15-year-old brother? (Shout-out to CJ!)

Not a happy nugget: Gatsby had to be leashed to ensure he didn't terrorize the repair guy who came over on Wednesday. He was eventually content to bark and growl from the comfort of the recliner.

Have a happy weekend! Mine will be spent hanging out with my dad in Greenville, loading up on produce at the farmer's market, and organizing my NEW apartment!

Have You Heard?

It's no secret that I love shopping. But there's something about online shopping that ups the excitement by adding the anticipation of a new happy's arrival. Add in the feeling of getting a deal, and it's like having Christmas any time of the year :)

Here are my favorite designer deal websites. You've probably already heard of them, but if  not, you need to become a member now!

All three websites have boutiques for men, women, kids, and home. Sign up and get your save on!

PS: This post is not sponsored by any of these websites; I have ordered from all three and am always happy with what I get, though. I do, however, get website credit if you sign up through these links and order from your new account.

USA! USA! USA!

Guys, the Olympics start (starts?) this week. I LOVE watching the Olympics, especially swimming, track and field, and gymnastics (which I'm pretty sure are almost everyone's basic faves).

I may not be an Olympic athlete, but it doesn't mean I can't look like one, right? OK, it probably absolutely means I can't look like one, but anywho, there is some seriously fun Olympics fashion circulating now that would be PERFECT for drinking an American beer on the couch while watching super humans swimming their hineys off.

The top three shirts/tanks are all from Gap's Olympic vintage T collection. My favorite is the blue one! I like to envision myself wearing the tank top on the bottom while cycling for Team USA in spinning class at the gym. Even better? All of the above options are $30 or less! Really want to show your Olympic pride? Karl Lagerfeld is debuting an Olympic-inspired collection this week...preview here. We're #1!

Summer Lovin'

Even though I love all things accessories, I often find myself in a jewelry rut. I can typically be found sporting my trusty pearl earrings with maybe a few bangles if I'm feeling saucy. Still, and I know it's been a trend for quite a while now, I've been longing for some statement necklaces to dress up a simple dress or white t-shirt. Those, plus my pearl earrings, would definitely pull together a summer outfit for day or night.

Based on these pictures, I'm also clearly have a blue and coral/orange moment.

How do you dress things up on during these hot summer days and nights?
